For the first time since his break up with Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has finally broken his silence.
His message though does not have any mention of her former girlfriend. On his Twitter account, the 30-year old English racer thanked his fans for their support in this trying times.

While Hamilton remains discreet, Nicole Scherzinger cannot hide the pain regarding her split with his boyfriend of seven years. In an interview with The Sun, Tuesday, the 36-year old singer said she is devastated with how things went with her relationship with Hamilton.
"I'm devastated that it didn't work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together.
"I love Lewis and I know he loves me."
She added: "We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I'm trying to stay strong in my faith right now."
According to sources, Nicole Scherzinger - Lewis Hamilton split was due to the demands of their works to be away from each other for most of the time. Scherzinger resides in London while Lewis is based in Monaco and travels a lot because F1 is held in different countries in one whole Formula One calendar.
"They both spent most of their time alone because they were in different countries all the time. Nicole is heartbroken and devastated," a source told the Mail Online.
Since his split with Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger has been keeping herself busy through her shows and in company of her family. She is currently starring in the West End musical "Cats."
"Nicole was really lifted by her family's visit. It was the first time her grandmother had been to visit her in London, and it couldn't have come at a better time," the source said.
"She's been throwing herself into work for the past few weeks and it's been a real tonic. They both care about each other deeply, and really wanted this to work out."
