The last episode of CW Network TV series "The Flash" saw the speedy hero address a problem directly related to his father Henry (John Wesley Shipp) who is in prison.

(Watch out for The Flash TV series spoiler ahead)

Henry is in jail for allegedly murdering his own wife. In the episode titled "Crazy for You," the father of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) was stabbed by a cellmate. Enraged by the incident, Barry tracked the person who put his father in the hospital. By doing so, he also unraveled an even bigger mystery.

If in this episode, Barry felt only sympathy for his father, in the next ones, his reaction will be different. In an interview with Comicbook.com, John Wesley Shipp reveals his character, Henry, will make some decisions that won't sit well with his son.

"Well, what you're going to see is Henry start to form alliances. Up til now, his entire view of the outside world and connection to the outside world has been through Barry," Shipp said when asked for a major "The Flash" TV series spoiler regarding his character.

"Now, Joe knows he's not guilty and there's an alliance -- I can't tell you exactly how -- that begins to form that leads directly, it's no secret, to Henry getting roughed up in prison."

Henry might come on his own in the upcoming episodes. However, this is something that Barry is not prepared of.

"Watch for Barry's reaction to that. I think it's a very interesting reaction that Barry has to his father now forming alliances. He is now, not Henry's only window on the outside world."

So what is it that Henry will do? Check in the upcoming episodes. "The Flash" TV series episode 13 titled "Nuclear Man will air next week, February 10. The episode is centered on Robbie Amell's Firestorm and how he was revived and got his powers after the explosion at STAR Labs.
