Whitney Houston daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found in her Atlanta home on Saturday unresponsive and was rushed to North Fulton Hospital. The 21-year-old aspiring singer is now in medically induced coma.
A source close to the family told People magazine that she "is stable at the hospital."
"It's been a difficult time for Bobbi Kristina, who's struggled in the years after her mother's death...[she] has been vacillating between extremes for a while now and is fighting grief and demons of her own creation. The loss of her mom and her intense craving for attention of any sort are just the tip of her mountain of issues," the source added.
But a new report from TMZ claims that a source close to the family told them Bobbi Kristina has "significantly diminished" brain functions, "doctors have told her family it does not look good," and "tests have determined her brain function is alarmingly low".
Meanwhile, Bobby Brown jetted to Georgia to be on Krissy's side and issued an official statement about keeping their privacy on her daughter's health condition.
"Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time," Bobby Brown said.
According to a source of Hollywood Life, family members were "shutting out" Nick Gordon.
"There is a lot of tension whenever Nick comes around," the source told Hollywood Life.
"He wants to be more involved but the family is basically shutting him out. Bobby and Whitney's family don't like him one bit. Aunt Pat and him got into it so bad after Whitneys death that he even threatened her. Everyone thinks he was just after Whitney's money and was using Krissy. He bought a bunch of expensive cars and extravagant gifts for himself with Krissy's inheritance. Nobody there trusts him."
After police's second inspection, drugs reportedly surfaced at Whitney Houston's daughter home, and Nick Gordon's companion when they found his wife has been identified as Maxwell Byron Lomas, MyFoxAtlanta reports.
MyFoxAtlanta also added that Maxwell Lomas was recently arrested on Jan. 14 and charged with possession of marijuana with "intent to distribute, possession of Alprazolam and possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies", cited from Fulton County Jail records.
