'Empire' TV Series Cast News And Spoiler: First Look On Courtney Love's Character And What Episode She Will Debut

In October last year, it was announced that Courtney Love will be a part of the "Empire" TV series cast.

Fox's new drama series is in musical genre and putting in the 50-year old former wife of late Kurt Cobain is not that surprising. Afterall, Love had success in music throughout her career.

In a report by the Hollywood Reporter, Courtney Love's role will be rockstar Elle Dallas, "a hard rock powerhouse, who is part of Empire Entertainment's stable of artists."

Entertainment website People had an exclusive first look on Love's role. Head on to the People website to see it. The website also revealed that Love's recurring character will debut on Feb. 11, which is the show's sixth episode titled "Out, Damned Spot."

Before joining the "Empire" TV series cast, Love made her television debut on the "Sons of Anarchy," which ended in 2014. Before that she has had appearances on the big screen, the most notable of which is the 1996 film "The People vs Larry Flynt" wherein she won and nominated for several awards for her role as Althea Leasure.

"Empire" TV series cast is lead by Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson. This Fox musical drama is about Empire Enterprises, a hip hop music and entertainment company built by Lucious Lyon (Howard) with the help of Cookie (Henson) who allowed herself to be imprisoned to let their company blossom.

"Empire" also deals with the members of the founders' family as they fight for control of the firm and chance for fame. So far, the show has been one of the biggest hit of 2015 as it breaks its viewership record each week. It debut with 9.90 million viewers. Their ratings grew by the second episode at 10.32 million, 11.07 million in third, and 11.36 million in the fourth episode.

"Empire" will return on February 4 for the episode "Dangerous Bonds."
