Ex-o=Olympian Bruce Jenner has reportedly formally announced his "transitioning to a woman" to his family .
But his ex-wife "freaked out" when he broke the news, his journey from man to woman was filmed for a docu-series that is said to air after "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" TMZ reports.
"Kris is shocked, happy, devastated and relieved, all at the same time. She's going through a wide range of emotion as we speak. She understands it, but hates it all at the same time. She really wants to be involved in this process with Bruce, but he won't allow it," a source told HollywoodLife.com
Moreover, a source close to the family confirms the news.
"He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he's doing. He's in such a great space. That's why it's the perfect time to do something like this. Instead of completely shocking everyone, his changes have been subtle, and his family has had the chance to slowly get used to his new looks and life," the source told People.
Bruce Jenner has reportedly decided to transform into being a woman a year ago. His growing locks and French tip manicure draw to a conclusion that rumors might be true. He was rumored to have undergone a laryngeal shave and other procedure to prepare for his transition. He also sought psychological counseling as well, TMZ reports.
"He's being very smart about and also respectful about his transition," the insider said.
"Instead of completely shocking everyone, his changes have been subtle, and his family has had the chance to slowly get used to his new looks and life," the source added to People.
"He has come out to those closest to him... He's been through a dark period and is coming out on the other side," added the insider.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview Kim Kardashian was asked about these rumors, and Kanye Wests's wife responded that her stepfather is "on a journey that he would talk about when the time was right."
