Compact SUV's have been all the buzz in the automotive world lately. Nissan gave us the Juke, Mini introduced the Countryman, Ford has the EcoSport and Jeep has their recently released 2015 Renegade.
Joining that list is Honda's 2016 HR-V, a model that boasts improved fuel economy, unmatched cabin space and new exterior styling.
The 2016 HP-V is available in three trims: VTi, VTi-L and VTi-S which are all powered by a 1.8 liter gasoline engine that is coupled with a CVT automatic transmission gearbox.
Safety features on the new model include Honda's Lane Watch System, a small camera integrated into the side mirrors allowing drivers to monitor the road when merging, displaying the vehicle's blind spot when the turn lamp is activated. The City-Brake System also appears on the new vehicle, a device that monitors the road ahead and automatically appiles brakes when it detects an imminent crash.
