"Who Says" Selena Gomez won't get in the middle of the Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift feud?
Things are quite getting out of hand as both Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have been reportedly plotting their revenge on each other come Grammys and Super Bowl performances, respectively. Selena Gomez enters the scene in an attempt to end the feud.
According to Hollywood Life, a source reveals that "Love You Like a Love Song" singer Selena Gomez is disappointed at the two feuding artists, and vows to help mend the friendship.
"Selena wants to arrange a sit down for Taylor and Katy. She wants them to talk it out," said in the report. "It'd be a shock to everyone if they go for it-there's just too much history, but Selena is trying."
Rumors have been floating online, revealing that both Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are both planning to diss each other via their songs during their respective performances. Katy Perry is slated to perform during Super Bowl 2015 Halftime early February, while country-singer-turned-pop star Taylor Swift will have her revenge come the 57th Grammy Awards.
Katy Perry's song, which she will perform during halftime, "She's So Creepy" is said to be a "very thinly veiled attack on Taylor Swift", reports Life & Style. In the same magazine, a source reveals that Taylor Swift is already in the know about this ploy and "will do counterattack with another song in no time."
For years, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have been tweeting back and forth with endless compliments. However, following recent break-ups and new relationship specifically involving singer-songwriter John Meyer, tweets abruptly stopped.
While the two have yet to actually confirm the feud, interviews and source revelations online show that there really is trouble in girl paradise. How will Selena Gomez attempt to mend a broken friendship? She plans to sit them down and talk, but will this work? Stay tuned for updates here!
