The seven-bedroom, five-bathroom property was originally listed for $14 million, but WENN has confirmed that Swift managed to land the home for just $4.9 million with an all-cash offer.
The home has been on the market for a while, according to Zillow. It was first listed in 2010 for $13.5 million, and the price was cut several times before Swift got it for $4.9 million. One reason for the good deal? A source close to the Kennedy family told World Entertainment News Network that Swift made an all-cash offer on the condition that the sale close quickly.
The country music superstar was previously linked to Conor's model/actor cousin, Patrick Schwarzenegger, after she was photographed hanging out with him and his relatives at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts on July 4.
Conor, the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy, has also been leaning on Swift since his mother's suicide in May. "Taylor has been a real shoulder to cry on," the source explains.
