Blackberry Q20 Classic Smartphone Launches In India Exclusive Via SnapDeal; How To Get The Deal?

Canadian phone maker BlackBerry invades India as it launched its newest flagship device, the BlackBerry Q20, more popularly known as the BlackBerry Classic.

In a recent event at New Delhi, the company has revealed the Classic to the Indian market, offering a traditional design of having a QWERTY keyboard, which is what BlackBerry is originally known for. It added a touch of modernity to it by putting altogether an up-to-date hardware and and software.

"We listened closely to our customers' feedback to ensure we are delivering the technologies to power them through their day - and that feedback led directly to the development of BlackBerry Classic," BlackBerry's Executive Chairman and CEO John Chen shared in talk.

He continued, "BlackBerry Classic is the powerful communications tool that many BlackBerry Bold and Curve users have been waiting for. It's the secure device that feels familiar in their hands, with the added performance and agility they need to be competitive in today's busy world."

The new BlackBerry Classic has a 3.5 inch screen with 720 x 720 pixels screen resolution and a 582 ppi pixel density. True to its name, a 35-key QWERTY backlit keyboard is among its unique features, bringing back its legacy which it was known for.

It has a dual core processor at 1.5 GHz with a 2GB RAM and a long lasting 2,515 mAh battery. It can now support NFC and 4G LTE. It will be running Blackberry 10.3.1 OS, the newest from BlackBerry.

Furthermore, the BB Q20 is believed to be the thinnest handset Blackberry has ever produced having a dimension of 130 x 72 x 9mm.

The Classic is exclusively available on India's Snapdeal at Rs 31,900, and according to the India-based e-commerce site, the first 1,000 customers will get benefits from yatra.com amounting to Rs 10,000.
