Lindsay Lohan news reports have been circulating that the "Speed The Plow" star is struggling to complete her community service requirement while in London. According to a report from Daily Mail, the actress could face jailtime if not given an extension after her Chikungunya hospitalization.
The community service requirement is in line with Lindsay Lohan news from 2012 wherein she got into a car crash with an 18-wheeler truck while driving at Los Angeles' Pacific Coast Highway. The movie star was then sentenced to 30-days of community service, required to attend a rehabilitation facility for 90 days, and underwent 180 days of psychiatric counselling.
While the community service order was issued in California, the former child star was allowed to finish the requirement in London. She partnered with Community Service Volunteers (CVS), a London-based charitable organization that helps disabled and disadvantaged individuals.
She initially had until November 6 to finish her community service requirement, but was granted with a two-month extension. During that time, Lindsay Lohan news reported how she was busy with projects around London, which included a West End play entitled "Speed The Plow", a new clothing line, and an app called "Price Of Fame".
However, Daily Mail reported that Lindsay Lohan has been struggling to finish community service. She has also been absent from serving at CVS for more than two weeks.
With only until January 28 to complete the remaining hours, the actress could be sent to jail if not given a second extension. She could apply for more additional time, specifically after being rushed to the hospital due to a mosquito-carried virus called Chikungunya. She reportedly caught the illness while on a vacation in Bora Bora.
Prior to Lindsay Lohan news about her struggling to complete her community service order, a report from Radar Online said the now-sober actress has put her partying days behind her.
The actress' lifestyle change has reportedly caught the attention of producers, as Lindsay Lohan news revealed that she has three movie offers waiting for her in the US.
"Lindsay is determined to be a movie star again," a source told Radar Online.
"She is still sober and we are all very supportive... We always will be," the insider added.
