'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Will Be Marvel's Biggest Film Claims Actor Paul Bettany; Movie Arriving On May 1

| By

Paul Bettany who plays "Vision" in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron" sat down with the Radio Times to promote "Mortdecai." Of course the actor also mentioned "Avengers" in the interview, saying that "Age of Ultron" will be massive and might be Marvel's biggest movie yet.

"I've never been on a bigger set on my entire life than in The Avengers [Age of Ultron]. One [part] seemed to be the corner of a town, with helicopter cameras, and drone cameras flying about. I just haven't seen anything that big, so it was like being a kid on a film set again.

"This is the biggest thing Marvel have ever done. It was enormous. I remember, we were at Comic-Con, and they showed a portion of the footage, and I was just gobsmacked. And I looked down the row and every one of the Avengers was the same. Including Samuel Jackson - and his whole modus operandi is 'I've seen everything before, I'm the most chilled out, relaxed man and I've seen everything...' and he was as knocked out as anyone. It's huge" said the actor.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" has the largest budget of a Marvel film at an estimated $250 million, making sense of filming that took place in differenct countries.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will star Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk and Chris Hemsworth as the demigod Thor. Joining them are S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives Black Widow played by Scarlett Johannson and Hawkeye played by Jeremy Renner. Completing the team are fellow agents Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson and Agent Maria Hill played by Cobie Smulders. The Avengers must once again reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a rogue byproduct of Stark Industries, hell bent on destroying the human race. They will also encounter new characters; siblings Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff as well as their new ally, The Vision, played by Paul Bettany.

The movie is expected in theaters on May 1.
