Expect bombs when "Revenge" airs its next episode. Of course, not the ones that explode.
The main characters has just gotten over their ordeal in the hands of Malcolm Black (Tommy Flanagan) in the last episode. The bombs this post is pertaining to are the revelations that Carolyn Hennesy's character has with her when she meets other main characters.
The 52-year old actress' character on the show is Penelope, the mom of Louise, played by new series regular Elena Satine. Hennesy sat down for an interview with TV Line and she provided more than enough "Revenge" season 4 episode guide.
One notable thing Hennesy said is that there are "other atomic bombs to be dropped." Not on Emily Thorne (Emily Vancamp) or Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) but on her daughter Louise.
As you can recall from the last episode, Louise is not naturally insane. Her insanity was just produced by the medicines she takes, medicines that he shouldn't be taking. Turned out, the prescription for Louise was deliberately fabricated by her mom so that her daughter won't be able to object on her plans. Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann), Louise's new found friend, learned about this and to thwart Penelope from taking all of Louise's money, they decided to get engaged.
Obviously, this won't sit well with Penelope and so, she made plans to stop two's relationship. According to a "Revenge" season 4 episode guide from Hennesy, Penelope won't give up until she gets what she thought is hers, and this includes taking down Nolan.
"It's very antagonistic. Nolan understands exactly who she is, so he hates her, and rightfully so.
"He really is Louise's knight in shining armor, and now that they've gotten control of the money from Penelope, we're left wondering what lengths she'll go to to get it back. It's all about the money."
Aside from Hennesy, "Revenge" season 4 episode 14 titled "Kindred" will also feature Kim Richards and Gina Torress as guest stars. Their characters are described as members of the socialite group of Hamptons.
