Some phone manufacturers have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming MWC 2015 in Barcelona Spain, but the most anticipated LG G4 is rumored to skip the said event.The news came from Korean site Chosun reports via G for Games.
According to the Korean site, its source claims that an LG executive was overheard saying that the LG G4 won't appear at MWC 2015. The G3 was launched in May 2014, and the G Pro range was unveiled at MWC last year, but the Korean phone manufacturer was rumored that it has dropped its G Pro phones to make its way on the production of the LG G4.
"We rolled out the G3 in May last year so we do not plan to unveil the G4 at this year's Mobile World Congress and [will] spend more time perfecting the new phone," the statement reads.
Ken Hong, Director of Corporate Communications for LG, has dropped some hints about the upcoming flagship during an interview at the recently concluded CES 2015.
"I think we will [experiment with our high-end phones]. I think we have to.If you look at the specs only, there are other competitors with similar-spec phones. How do you stand out in that pile if you're not doing something different," he said.
Meanwhile, Phone Arena claims that LG phone with model number LG-H810 could be the LG G4 for AT&T as it was revealed in a leaked document. It added, that the upcoming flagship will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor 1440 x 2560 screen resolution, 5312×2988 picture resolution and 3GB RAM.
On the other hand, iKnow Today claims that the G4 might come with either a 5.5-inch or 5.9-inch display with 2/4K resolution, sapphire crystal glass or Corning Gorilla Glass 4, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810 processor, and 3500 mAH battery.
