PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive of 2014 Chris Hemsworth is all set for "Thor: Ragnarok," the third and final installment of the "Thor" movie series.
Although the exact filming date is yet to be announced, the team will take into consideration their release date, which is on Jul. 2017, so cameras should start rolling within the year.
The movie's writers Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost must have been so bent on keeping the plot a secret so no one can actually tell whether the rumored plot is true or not. One thing is for sure though- this final offer of "Thor" standalone film will reportedly rock the entire Marvel Cinematic universe.
Speaking of rumors, 30-year old actress Jaimie Alexander may have given her fans a clue that she will be returning to the movie to reprise her role as Lady Sif.
"Hmmmm. My day summed up into one phrase? #ForAsgard !!!!!!! ;)" Her Twitter post read. And since everything is "play it by ear" for "Thor" fans at least for now, they can only hope that their guess is as good as everyone else.
But what is far more interesting is the buzz that Odin, Heimdall, Loki (yes, everybody's favorite villain!), and Thor himself, are all going to die according to Movie Pilot.
If Marvel will be true to the movie's title, that could be possible since "Ragnarok" is a series of future events, that includes a great battle foretold, which ultimately concludes in the death of a number of major figures, as reported by the said site.
Moreover, the plot also includes various natural calamities that result in the "subsequent submersion of the world in water." However, this is not yet the end. The report from Movie Pilot indicated that the world "resurfaces anew and fertile" and the gods will return to reunite and look over the world.
Additionally, one of the screenwriters, Christopher Yost posted an interesting statement on Twitter,
"Ragnarok is the end of all things. What are we supposed to do, let people life?!" His Tweet reads.
