US Weekly reports exclusively that Zooey Deschanel is engaged to her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik. The news comes just one week after the actress revealed that her and her producer boyfriend were expecting their first child together this summer.

This will be the second marriage for Deschanel. The 35-year-old 'New Girl' star was previously wed to Death Cab for Cutie vocalist Ben Gibbard.
