"Hannibal" season 3 premiere has been moved to a later date, and that is bad news for Fannibal who have been waiting for almost a year for the show's return.
Well, here is a good news for you. The ever lonely and work-maniac Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is sure to see some sunshine in the new season as the NBC drama series have found his wife.
Last year, it was revealed that "Hannibal" will be exploring the world of "Red Dragon," one of the three novels where the show is based from. One of the main characters of the novel, which was adapted into a movie, is Molly, the wife of Will Graham.
Series developer Bryan Fuller found the Molly of Will and she is no other than Tony Award Best Actress Nina Arianda. This "Hannibal" season 3 spoiler was first reported by TV Line. It wrote:
"TVLine has learned exclusively that Tony winner Nina Arianda - Dancy's leading lady in Broadway's Venus in Fur - is joining the acclaimed NBC thriller's season 3 cast as Will's new bride."
The entertainment website added Molly "understands that Will is a good man, and her love has allowed him to rebuild himself. But when Will is asked to return to the FBI, she also urges him to try and save lives, knowing what risks this entails."
Arianda's credentials include films like "Tower Heist," "Midnight in Paris," "Rob the Mob" and "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby." She won a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play in 2012 for "Venus in Fur."
However, you won't see Nina's Molly in the "Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode as TV Line also reported she will appear in episode 8 instead, which will also see major time jump. Before that, Will has to deal first on the aftermath of the second season finale wherein he, Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas), and Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) were gutted by Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen).
"Hannibal" season 3 premiere episode will feature Dr. Lecter and Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) in Italy posing as couple while the cannibalistic, sophisticated Dr. Lecter hunts his new victim.
