Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still one of the most anticipated games for 2015, and Konami and Hideo Kojima are really holding onto that release date information for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
For many, it's difficult to imagine the great Snake with a different voice. The character is still there and the expressions on his face bring us ever closer to who this man really is.
This title really could be the definitive game in the whole series, though it'll be tough to beat Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. But one thing we can't wait to see, are the jokes and surprises that Kojima will have lined up before the release date of MGS5.
There was genuine shock and almost outrage once it was announced that David Hayter would not be reprising the role of Snake, or Big Boss, in Metal Gear Solid 5.
Fans say Snake needed to be more emotive, even when compared with Metal Gear Solid IV. Kojima has adored watching these characters progress through time, developing a deeper understanding for the characters he has created has been a journey for both himself and for us.
Number 1 is that David Hayter actually plays Solid Snake. The timeline would work and we'd be treated to getting Big Boss voiced by Sutherland and then Hayter playing the iconic Solid Snake. The clones of Big Boss could be created in this title.
Hayter gave a kind of weird response on Twitter recently when he was asked about his potential role in the upcoming title: "I'm not 'not allowed' to not tell anyone about anything."
