Zack Snyder's Much Awaited DC Movie 'Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice' To Have Two Installments?

| By

There have been recent rumors surrounding Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder-helmed film "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," that it will be split into two installments.

According to the source which was reportedly caught by AICN, Warner opted to release two installments- Part 1 of which is entitled "Enter the Knight," and Part 2: "Dawn of Justice."

According to the said source, the two films will be five months apart in terms of hitting theaters, having release dates of Oct. 23, 2015 and Mar. 25, 2016 respectively. Moreover, this will be found out once the trailer is released, which will be featured in the upcoming Warner movie "Jupiter Ascending" starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.

Fans who found out about this unconfirmed news thought that Warner is stretching the film too much, while some would even call it a "cash-grab" wanting to double the movie's profit, but since we don't really know yet what the entire plot is going to be, not to mention the many characters of the film to be introduced to prepare the way for the 2-part film "Justice League," the thought of splitting the movie could be possible.

However, "Man of Steel" star himself Henry Cavill just confirmed during the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) event that the upcoming blockbuster film of Zack Snyder will be released alone, no installments whatsoever. For most, this is definitely good news, but for some, it might be a disappointment, especially since there could be more than enough scenes for them to make it into two parts.

Meanwhile, Director Snyder continues to defend his stars in the said film after receiving outrage from fans who openly disapprove of some of the casts such as Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg, thinking they didn't really fit the characters they took on. "I understand the canon, I'm not crazy. I know what these characters need from a mythological standpoint," Snyder responded.
