Early this month, world's top 3 phone manufacturer Xiaomi released its latest teaser on its latest flagship smartphone via Facebook. The short clip revealed enough hints about the latest handset which will be officially announced within the month. It shows of sentences with missing "adjectives" which is up to the viewers to guess. According to GSMArena, the 3 lacking words could be "thin," "bigger," and "curved."
Techno Buffalo said that the upcoming device will either be called Mi5 or Mi4S, how true is this? It is also rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 SoC, 3GB of RAM and QHD Display based on the leaked images. Moreover, 9to5 Google reported that we can expect the new Xiaomi smartphone to have a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a 5.7-inch display and to be powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Tthe big reveal made Xiaomi fans very thrilled and really looking forward to see this new successor of Mi4 which is believed to be bigger, thinner and louder than the current flagship smartphone. However, the release of this new device of Xiaomi will not only be until February, when The Chinese tech giant is reportedly going to ship at least 12 million units.
As for the price, there was no official word yet from the company as to how much it will be sold in the market, but having known for selling high quality products at a budget-friendly price, Xiaomi's new flagship smartphone will definitely have a competitive price.
Meanwhile, the company has recently revealed its latest "entry-level" phone, the Redmi 2. The said device officially came out last Jan. 9. Although the company has not announced when it will be available outside of China, expect that it will definitely be released in India, among other countries where Xiaomi has pretty much established its presence.
