Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) and Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler) are childhood friends who were separated by unfortunate circumstances. They were reunited and then went on to experience more unfortunate events that separated them even more.
There is no denying that Jack still has feelings for Emily. However, he has to put that feelings behind because of the nature of Emily's quest for vengeance. (Major "Revenge" season 4 spoiler ahead). Now that the current big bad of the show Malcolm Black (Tommy Flanagan) is gone, is there a chance they will reunite?
Talking to TV Line, Nick Wechsler hinted that the Emily-Jack ship hasn't sunk yet. However, his character has to take it slow given the heavy events that transpired over the past years.
"We weren't going to push that," Nick Wechsler told TV Line when asked for any "Revenge" season 4 spoiler, particularly about Jack's romantic interest on Emily.
"Jack's been hanging back, waiting for her to feel ready, but he's been into her this whole time. We're slowly getting there."
While fans can expect Emily-Jack Relationship to blossom again, they need to be ready because one or more death is looming. In a separate "Revenge" season 4 spoiler released by TV Line before the ABC drama series aired its 13th episode, Gabriel Mann (who plays the charismatic Nolan Ross) was quoted as saying that there will be one more fatality before the season ends.
"Any one of us could be gone without proper circumstance. They have no qualms about anyone dying on this show. ... We're going real, real, real big this year," he said.
"It feels like anything further from this show [beyond Season 4] would need to be a variation on what this is. Whether that involves these same characters, or new characters, none of us really know."
Ross also noted that the death will be a huge one.
"It's a big one. Our creator, Mike Kelley, envisioned the end of the series as a beach covered with the bodies of our characters, with Emily and Victoria climbing over them to get to each other."
