Much has been said from different sources about the plot of the highly-anticipated movie "Star Wars Episode VII," so once and for all, somebody from the film itself speaks up.
In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, fast rising star Oscar Isaac finally addressed the speculations surrounding the movie's plot.
"I can't speak for the cast and crew, I can just speak for myself, but for me I thought, 'Don't you want to wait so you can get the real thing?' But it creates excitement for it. I don't think these little leaks necessarily ruined watching the trailer. And also, the plot theories that get that formulated based on these things - they couldn't be more far off-base," the 35-year-old actor explained.
It seems that the Inside Llewyn Davis actor and the rest of the cast of Star Wars Episode VII will do everything they can to protect the confidentiality of the movie's plot before it hits theaters in December. How do they do it?
"You go to the place, and they have a room with cameras and you sit there and read the script," Isaac revealed. "They're incredibly protective, because nowadays, with however many hundreds of blogs and this and that, people are just ravenous for content. So because of that, there has to be such tight security around it. And it gets in the way of the process a bit, but it's understandable," the actor added.
According to reports, Isaac will be playing a major role in the J.J. Abrams-helmed "Star Wars." We will see him suit up as the mysterious X-Wing pilot seen in the teaser trailer called Poe Dameron. "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" opens in theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
