We are now only 14 months away from Director Zack Snyder's much-awaited film "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice," but it feels like everyone has been waiting forever!
A report from Collider revealed that the famous director has recently finished principal photography and is well on the way into a tedious post-production phase. It's a good thing we hear about several updates and plot details from time to time, which will do for the meantime until the real thing comes in, agree?
Speaking of plot details, Collider has recently interviewed Joe Letteri, Senior Visual Effects Supervisor for Weta Digital, the company responsible for the amazing visual effects of the recently released movie "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies."
The said company also happens to work with DC and Warner's "Dawn of Justice" film, and so they gave us hints on what to expect in this upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel.
"The sequence that we're doing is sort of self-contained, and I don't think you would've seen any of that yet. I can't really give any away, but it is a standalone sequence and I think you'll be able to pick it out when you do see it," Letteri told the Collider. Moreover, he disclosed that the said sequence is not the one that was unveiled during the San Diego Comic Con, so he is talking about an entirely different scene, we wonder what that is!
For sure, so many speculations are being made by now from fans of Superman, Batman, even Wonder Woman, on what among the so many potential action sequences, will standout and definitely be worth every penny to watch.
ScreenRant guesses the scene that Letteri talked about could involve all three superheroes fighting it out with the main villain Lex Luthor, or a scene in Krypton, which doesn't really affect the entire plot. We can only keep guessing for sure!
One thing we know though- Zack Snyder will definitely be showcasing a whole lot of his skills in helming this film and we can't wait to see DC fans giving their slow clap after the finale scene.
"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to hit the big screens on March 25, 2016.
