McDonald's curly fries - sounds like something your local McDonald's should already be selling but the popular fast food chain has only released them in the Philippines for a limited time.
McDonald's in the Philippines - locally known as McDo - is bringing back its popular "Twister Fries", or what Americans refer them to as curly fries, for a short run of only three weeks in order to increase the product's value.
McDonald' Twister Fries are available a la carte for P60 or $1.43 USD. Customers in the Philippines are going crazy over them and have taken to Twitter to spread the word and get the fast food chain to keep them as a regular menu item in the country. Here are some of the comments on Twitters by satisfied fans.
"Heavy Rains + Ice Cold Coke + Mcdonald's Twister Fries = HAPPINESS!"
"Twister Fries, please Don't GO! Like and share this page guys!"
Could McDonald's curly fries end up on U.S. menus sometime soon? The franchise store has not released any official details. It may boost sales and draw more customers who prefer curly fries to regular ones.
