"New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel recently announced the she is indeed pregnant with her first baby! Co-star Jake Johnson talks about the to-be mom and shares he's sure that she will be an amazing mother.
Following her divorce from Death Cab for Cutie lead vocalist Ben Gibbard, "New Girl" star has since found her place beside producer and current boyfriend Jacob Pechenik. Publicly appearing together late last August, the couple first appeared together at the Emmy Awards, confirming early rumors.
Jacob Pechenick's work include the 2013 films "Before Midnight", "Jobs", and "The Immigrant". While Zooey Deschanel is noted for her 2009 film "(500) Days of Summer" and the TV comedy series "New Girl".
The pregnancy announcement came last week, with "New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel confirming to People. She said, "Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one."
Co-star and on-screen previous love interest Jake Johnson, who plays the character Nick in the American sitcom "New Girl" shares his thoughts about the pregnancy of Zooey Deschanel soon after the announcement.
In a report by Entertainment Online, "New Girl" co-star Jake Johnson said, "I'm excited for her. We're really excited. She and Jacob are so excited and I couldn't be happier for Zooey."
"She's a good friend and this is an awesome thing in her life. I think she's going to be a great mom," he added.
Following her announcement, "New Girl" fans couldn't wait to ask if Zooey Deschanel's character Jess will also have a baby in the latter part of season 4, or even possibly for season 5. Although there hasn't been news on the matter yet officially, Jake Johnson shares details.
He said in the same report, "No, Jess is not going to have a baby. It'd be a weird 'Three Men and a Baby' vibe... just imagine how weird Winston would be around that baby!"
