'How To Get Away With Murder' Episode Guide: Annalise And Wes Gibbins Relationship Will Bloom Because Of Their Secret

| By

In the first "How to Get Away with Murder" episode, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her student assistant Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) didn't really get along. However, as the show progresses, the two found themselves in situation that forces them to connive and keep a secret together. There is always some tension (could be sexual?) between them whenever they are near each other ever since the night Wes found out Annalise has cancer.

While negative things are expected to happen to the people involved in the the murder night, the bond between Annalise and Wes will blossom. As you can recall from its mid-season finale, Annalise knows who killed his husband Sam (Tom Verica) who she also suspects of killing Lila. She knows that it is Wes Gibbins and her other students who beat Sam to death and she even gave them advice on how to hide the corpse.

"Alfred Enoch says that Wes and Annalise will be "bound ever closer by the secret that they share," adding: "The writers find new and genius ways to put a lot of strange things in our relationship."" TV Line wrote for its How To Get Away With Murder Episode Guide posted on Jan. 15.

So far, Wes is the only one among the students who knows about Annalise's cancer and this could be one of the reasons why he will sympathize with his terror law professor.

Meanwhile, as the group try to continue their normal lives, one mysterious visitor will arrive that will only make things difficult for them. Based on a How To Get Away With Murder Episode Guide released by ABC, calvary will start for the students involved in the murder of Sam.

"It's the day after Sam's murder and the students are called in to help Annalise find her missing husband, but just how much does Annalise know? And when a surprise visitor shows up in town, getting away with this murder might not be as easy as the students had hoped."
