The man most sought after for an interview, Robert Pattinson, will make his first public interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, Aug. 15 to discuss his upcoming movie and his ordeal after finding out girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him.
Pattinson has been avoiding the public eye for some time now, since Stewart issued her apology on July 25, 2012 for cheating on him with Rupert Sanders. He was spotted this weekend, "getting wasted" at a bar in Ojai, Calif. with his friends on Friday night.
His reps are confirming what exactly will be discussed but the interview falls in line with the release of his latest movie, "Cosmopolis" that will be hitting theaters on August 17, 2012, so it is certain that he will be promoting that. The cheating scandal plaguing the "Twilight" couple will most likely be a topic where he will be asked what happened or for his thoughts or feelings or something, reports say.
The 26-year-old British actor has been staying at his Water For Elephants co-stars house, Reese Witherspoon after moving out of the house he shared with Kristen Stewart.
The interview will not be considered good news for "Today," which won't have the Olympics to buttress its ratings next week.
The "Twilight Saga" hunk was spotted at The Deer Lodge in the California town, according to Radar Online.
"I've been told by several people that [Pattinson] was here enjoying the music with his friends. He seemed in good spirits," a Deer Lodge employee told the site. "I wasn't on that night so I didn't personally see him, but several others did."
The 26-year old British actor was also spotted by other people at the bar. "Robert Pattinson and his friends are at The Deer Lodge geting wasted," Twitter user Julie Demdam wrote late on Saturday night.
"Rob is with some panty droppers," she added. "They're on the dance floor dancing like crazy."
