OnePlus One dubbed as the "flagship killer" was an impressive high-end phone. Unlike any other high-end phone it has a lower price tag and runs CyanogenMod 11s, Android 4.4 KitKat OS based, out of the box. Interestingly, users can tweak the interface including its icons, general UI look and feel, fonts, etc.
The "flagship killer" is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad core krait 400 processor and Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset. It comes with 3GB of RAM ideal for gaming. You can choose between its 16 and 64GB variants, but it doesn't have a MicroSD slot for additional memory.
It boasts a 13 MP camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, coupled with a 6 part optic system and dual-tone LED perfect for taking selfies. It also has 5 MP secondary camera set an 80-degree angle.
Meanwhile, the rising Chinese phone manufacturer doesn't want to fall behind from new flagships of 2015. OnePlus is rumored to be in the works of a new flagship, that we may assume that it will be called as OnePlus Two.
In a report from a GSM Arena, details about the OnePlus Two high-end specs have surfaced from an unknown source.
The tech site adds that the upcoming OnePlus Two will feature: the same 5.5-inch display size, but with resolution increased to QHD; powered by an eight core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with 4GB of RAM; battery capacity improved at 3,300mAh from 3,100mAh unit of its predecessor; and will run on OnePlus One produced ROM which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
As we've previously reported, OnePlus Two (Lettuce) release date will be on Q2-Q3, 2015 as confirmed by the company's executives Carl and David in a Reddit AMA.
"OnePlus 2 should be out in Q2 or Q3 of 2015. We've seen a lot of people asking for a smaller device, and want to let everyone know that we hear you. We're thinking about it."
