A water Polo match on Wednesday that aired live on NBC showed an American water polo player grabbed the bathing suit of a Spanish opponent, accidentally pulling it down far enough to reveal her nipple.
Viewers took to Twitter to discuss the matter. "I just saw an #olympic nipple watching women's water polo. The underwater camera just flashed someone pulling someone aching suit. #oops," wrote Bill.
"There was just a nipple slip on womens water polo. Do Better NBC," wrote King of R&B.
Some other viewers were excited about the incident. "NBC just showed full boob with nipple during women's water polo. My new favorite Olympic event."
Since it was live, it's harder for NBC to catch these instantaneous moments and edit them out. During the recap edition, the incident was not broadcasted.
