Arrow returns on January 21 picking up from the events that transpired in the fall finale aired on December 10. Just in case you are wondering, here are the things that happened on that night. (In case you don't want any Arrow Season 3 spoiler, walk away now) Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is dead. He lost in his combat with Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) in an attempt to save his sister Thea (Willa Holland) who killed Sarah (Caity Lotz).
While the Emerald Archer is not expected to return anytime soon, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and her mom Donna (Charlotte Ross) is set for another reunion. According to an Arrow Season 3 spoiler from TV Line, Ross will reappear on the 18th episode.
Mama Donna might not be the only one returning to the life of Felicity. Expect her father to show up as he is already a part of the plan of Arrow writers.
"On the topic of Felicity's dad (versus her returning mom), exec producer Marc Guggenheim tells TVLine that unraveling that mystery is something the show will do "probably further down the line," rather than this season," TV Line's Michael Ausiello wrote.
"That said, if everything goes according to plan, we will learn a little bit more about dad" before Season 3 wraps. "But we haven't gotten to the episode yet or written the actual scene, so no specific promises," the website added quoting Guggenheim.
As for the January 21st episode titled 'Left Behind', Team Arrow will try to move on despite the horrible news about Ollie. John Diggle (David Ramsey) will suit up for action as they attempt to hold up thwarting criminals.
"You'll see me back in the Arrow suit," Ramsey said adding that the episode will also discuss why the team remains despite their leader being out for good.
"'Why does the team stay together?' If we stay together. This crusade that began with Oliver has become our crusade, but why? What does Oliver mean to me? Why do I love this guy? Some of those questions will be answered during this emotional examination."
