Variety's Ramin Setoodeh already confirmed that Dawn of Justice won't be split into two separate films, reporting that Henry Cavill himself denied the claims at the recent BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles. Setoodeh tweeted:
Elsewhere, rumors of Doomsday appearing in Dawn of Justice have surfaced. Badass Digest's Devin Faraci reports they are familiar with one draft of the script for Dawn of Justice and it's plot involves members of the Justice League battling the monster (via Screen Rant):
"...there's so much action in the second half as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman battle Doomsday in Metropolis and Gotham that you'd end up with two very, very lopsided movies. It works as an escalation in the full script, but without major additions it seems limp."
In other related news, reports of a theatrical trailer have hit the interwebs since the film wrapped up with principal photography at the end of last year. Said to be attached to the Wachowski Brothers latest effort, sci-fi "Jupiter Ascending" which stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum.
If the rumors prove true, the public might be getting their first look at all the characters expected to appear in the crossover film - Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to release on March 25, 2016. The cast includes Henry Cavill reprising his role as the Man of Steel and will introduce the new Dark Knight Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
