Avengers: Age Of Ultron Plot Rumors The Vision Worthy Of Thor's Hammer; Director Joss Whedon Says 'Death' Is Film's Philosophy

| By

Movie Pilot reports a source that has seen the upcoming movie's entire script. While they can't provide a link to the original source, they point out details about the Vision's role in the movie.

In the latest trailer for Age of Ultron, the members of the Avengers take turns in lifting Thor's hammer Mjolnir, only answering to one that is "worthy" to lift it. Movie Pilot's theory is that the Vision will be the one to use it to defeat Ultron:

"We know that Thor: Ragnarok is chronologically right after Avengers 2 and that "Ragnarok" In the comics starts and ends with death.Thor will be the one who dies first in Age Of Ultron. He dies...The hammer loses it's wielder and that's where the vision comes in.The Vision will end up being the most worthy among the avengers and he'll use the hammer against Ultron (I don't know how..So don't ask). Vision helps the Avengers defeat Ultron and Ragnarok starts."

To back it up, various sources have reported that Thor and his brother might die in Thor: Ragnarok, possibly leaving the hammer without it's wielder. Josh Whedon also said that the main philosophy behind Age of Ultron was "Death, death and death."

In other Avengers news, another trailer is set to be released on the 12th of January at the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship. The new footage can be seen on ESPN, 8:30 p.m. ET - will we finally see the Vision in action?

Avengers: Age of Ultron will star Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk and Chris Hemsworth as the demigod Thor. Joining them are S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives Black Widow played by Scarlett Johannson and Hawkeye played by Jeremy Renner. Completing the team are fellow agents Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson and Agent Maria Hill played by Cobie Smulders. The Avengers must once again reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a rogue byproduct of Stark Industries, hell bent on destroying the human race. They will also encounter new characters; siblings Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff as well as their new ally, The Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
