'Banshee' Season 3 Release Date, Spoiler, And More: Get To Know Officer Raven, What Is He About?

| By

Just in case you haven't been following, "Banshee" Season 3 release date is on January 9. Yes, that was yesterday. You need to see the episode now as it will definitely make your heart pound right from the very first scene. A lot of things have changed since the finale of the Cinemax show's sophomore run. Carrie Hopewell (Ivana Milicevic) has a new f*** buddy. Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), Brock Lotus (Matt Servitto), and Siobhan Kelly (Trieste Kelly Dunn) decided to execute the man who killed their former colleague.

Some new interesting characters in the Cinemax action series also made their debut. One of those is Chaske Spencer's Billy Raven who is the replacement of Officer Emmet Yawners. The character of Spencer, known for his roles in the Twilight film series, didn't get much air time but that is enough for viewers to ask what is up about him. Especially during one conversation with Brock wherein he said that he does not get that much action from the place where he used to be stationed.

In an interview with ICTMN, Spencer said there is more to expect from his character besides being stuck in the chair in the precinct. With the Kinaho tribe starting their shenanigans as seen in the Banshee Season 3 release date, he will get more involved since Raven himself is a member of the tribe.

"My character is a tribal police officer for the Kinaho tribe," he said.

"He leaves the tribal police force on the reservation due to the corruption and he joins the Banshee force. What my character Billy Raven runs into in Banshee is definitely not expected. It's a pretty gritty show."

In previous "Banshee" Season 3 spoilers, it is revealed that Kinaho tribe gang leader Chayton Little (Geno Seger) will be the new big bad that will trouble the town and Lucas Hood.

For Spencer, he thinks the show is doing a great job in portraying the native storyline.

"It's great, especially considering it is one of the only ones we've got. (laughs) There are not many TV shows where Native Americans get to work. You rarely if ever see this type of idea on television where a Native person is taken from the reservation to work," he explained.

"My character is truly a great character I can work with. This is just really one of those few shows out there-Longmire is another. For Banshee, I feel that they are doing a pretty good job with the Native element."
