"Mean Girls" alum Lacey Chabert had recently reminisced to "Us Weekly" on Thursday, January 8, at Hallmark's TCAs gala that she still keeps in touch with her former co-stars Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. However, she seemed to have forgotten to mention the name of the fourth mean girl team member, Lindsay Lohan.
The 32-year-old actress had revealed to "Us" that she had "so much fun" when she had reunited with her on-screen teacher Tina Fey as well as the Plastics for the Reunion issue of "Entertainment Weekly". According to Chabert, "Rachel, Amanda and I getting together -- it was so lovely to reconnect again." She continued without saying Lohan's name, "We email and text."
Chabert had played the character of Gretchen Wiener in the film, who was the daughter of the inventor of the famous Toaster Strudel. The actress said their reunion had allowed the former co-stars to reminisce and catch up on the years following their highly successful film. She added, "After the shoot, it was like we got back together again. So we decided to catch up on each other's lives."
More than ten years has passed since the film was released. And the girls, except Lohan, were relatively new on the Hollywood scene. In the Reunions issue of "Entertainment Weekly", Seyfried said, "It was terrifying. I don't know what I would have done without Lacey Chabert. She was my angel. She took me in, and we'd hang out in her trailer and listen to Dido... Lacey taught me how to make pecan pie. She made my experience so magical and so safe for me."
Currently, Chabert will be starring in a television movie named "All of My Heart" which will be showing on the "Hallmark Channel' next month on Valentine's Day. She said, "I play a woman who moves into a house and I meet a guy. The movie goes to prove that opposite attract. It was so much fun!". But it seems Chabert is still holding on to the film "Mean Girls" as she quipped, "I think Fetch is going to happen. The fact that people are still talking about the movie 10 years later means that it's going to happen."
