Great news! The "On The Floor" singer confirmed that she's officially single. 45-year-old Jennifer Lopez dishes rumors about her reconciling with her ex-beau Casper Smart and says she's officially on the market.
After the widespread talks of the public that the "I Luh Ya Papi" singer got back with her 27-year-old ex-boyfriend, she then revealed to "Us Weekly' exclusively that she is not getting back nor is she currently back together with Smart. She told "Us Weekly" that "I'm single right now". This was at the press junket of "The Boy Next Door" in Los Angeles on Thursday, January 8, ending public speculation and rumors that she is reconciling with Smart after their break up in June last year.
The "Booty" singer who is also a chart-topping performer had started dating her backup dancer Smart back in 2011. After they broke up, they remained amicable to each other and settled as friends. They have been seen together in public months after their breakup.
Lopez still currently maintained that she is not seeing anyone. She told "Us", "I think being on my own has been really great for me." She added, "There was a time where I was just like 'Ehhh, I'm just not going to deal with anybody, I just want to be on my own.' Now I'm getting back into the mix. For right now, I just have no announcements to make."
Before Smart, Lopez was married to singer Marc Anthony. They tied the knot in June of 2004 and have two children together, 6-year-old twins named Emme and Max. The couple's divorce was finalized this last June. Prior to Anthony, the singer had several highly publicized relationships. She was married to Ojani Noa and Cris Judd, engaged to Ben Affleck and was linked in the 90s to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.
