Nokia N1 Makes An Incredible Release In China Priced At Around $270; 20,000 Units Sold Out In 4 Minutes, Next Sale Will Be On January 15

Nokia's finally back in the game! Yesterday, the Finnish company launched the Nokia N1 in China. More than 500,000 of Nokia fans queued to get their hands on the Nokia's first tablet, but unfortunately the first batch of 20,000 units were sold out in just 4 minutes.

The next flash sale of the N1 will kick off January 15.

Though dubbed as an iPad Mini copycat, the Nokia N1 out runs the original iPad Mini 3 in an AnTuTu benchmark test.

According to GSM Arena, N1 scored 589 frames in GFXBench's Manhattan test, compared to 553 frames for the iPad Mini 3. In T-Rex, the score was 1,437 to 1,271, while in the 1080p T-Rex offscreen test the N1 got 1,691 frames and the iPad Mini 3 just 1,598.

Nokia N1: Specs and Features

The Nokia N1 offers decent specs and features with an affordable price tag of $270. It sports a 7.9in 2,560x1,536 IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass and Nokia's zero air gap technology.It has the dimensions of 201x139x6.9mm and weighs at 318g.

Under the hood is powerful 64-bit processor powered by a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor paired with 2GB RAM. Its internal storage is at 32GB and does not support a microSD slot. One of its surprising feature is its type-C USB port,making it the one of the few devices that support the new reversible USB standard. (via theinquirer.net)

The Nokia N1 is backed by a 5300mAh battery that can last up to 9 hours of usage.

It features an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and 5Mp front snapper, and both cameras support 1080p video recording..

Other notable features include a dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO and Bluetooth 4.0, and offers a 3.5mm audio jack and a reversible Micro-USB port.

The Nokia N1 is shipped running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nokia's Zlauncher.
