After various actors, musicians and other personalities have sat across Jimmy Fallon in "The Tonight Show" enduring his mischievous challenges and games, finally the host seems to find his match in Nicole Kidman.
The Australian actress graced Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show" early this week, hoping to talk about her upcoming film "Paddington". However, host Jimmy Fallon took it upon himself to remind Nicole Kidman of their first ever meeting, not knowing this maneuver will blow up in his face.
During "The Tonight Show" episode, Jimmy Fallon opened up the topic where he met Nicole Kidman for the first time through a common friend. According to Jimmy Fallon, he got a call from his friend who says Nicole Kidman wants to meet him to discuss future plans about the film "Bewitched" and the actress will meet with him at his apartment.
Upon the meeting, Nicole Kidman shares that as Jimmy Fallon prepared cheese, corn chips and "old Chinese food" for his guests and donned "a baseball cap and sweats", leading her to conclude that he wasn't interested in her.
Throughout the interview, both actors couldn't stop giggling and were actually blushing in their seats. With Nicole Kidman even saying, "this is a disaster", as both could not get on with the interview without returning to their "first date" experience.
Both Nicole Kidman and Jimmy Fallon burst into laughter throughout the interview, with both attempting to talk about other things including Nicole Kidman's husband, Keith Urban who has appeared in "The Tonight Show" a couple of times. They also attempt to talk about the upcoming animated film, "Paddington" where Nicole Kidman plays the villain, Millicent.
The film "Paddington" is based on Michael Bond's "Paddington Bear", and stars Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Nicole Kidman. It was released in the UK last year, and is set for a January 16, 2015 release date in the US.
