A good way to start the year right! Another Bachelor baby is about to be born this year as "Bachelorette" star Emily Maynard is currently pregnant. Maynard and her husband Tyler Johnson are expecting a baby together which the mother-to-be confirmed exclusively to "Us Weekly" of the delightful news.
According to the happy mom who told "Us", "We're super excited!" This will be the second child for Maynard who is the season eight Bachelorette. Maynard is currently 28 years of age and is also a mom to a 9-year-old daughter named Ricki. She raised her daughter all on her own after her late fiancé who is also her high school sweetheart namedRicky Hendrick had died in a tragic plane accident. The plane he was in crashed back in 2004.
Maynard is known for her involvement on Brad Womack's season of "The Bachelor" back in 2011. The West Virginia native had accepted Womack's marriage proposal at the end of season 15 of the ABC's smash franchise. Afterwards, their relationship ended the same year, in 2011. About a year later, she became the star on her very own season of "The Bachelorette". In the show, she ultimately got engaged to a finalist contestant named Jef Holm. The couple called it quits just a year later, in late 2012.
A year ago, in January 2014, Maynard had exclusively broke the happy news to "Us Weekly" that she was engaged to her current husband, Johnson. She said, "He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings." She continued to tell "Us" at that time, "It was so sweet." At the time she got engaged, the ecstatic blonde haired reality star had also teased to her followers on Instagram that it is a "good year" ahead as she welcomed the start of the year in 2014.
