'The Bachelorette' Star Andi Dorfman Split With The Show's Finalist Josh Murray After Five Months Of Engagement

| By

Andi Dorfman is apparently back on the market five months after the "Bachelor" fans had witnessed her accepting a proposal from the finalist, Josh Murray. This all happened last July 28 on the finale of the reality series "The Bachelorette" in its 10th season. This was confirmed by their rep to "Us Weekly".

According to their rep who said in a statement last Thursday, "After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways." The rep continued, "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."

The shocking event had blown up to the public just three days after 27-year-old Dorfman and 30-year-old Murray had appeared at the red carpet together at ABC's season 19 premiere event for "The Bachelor" on Monday, January 5. At that time, Murray revealed to "Us Weekly" that although the duo had not yet started planning their wedding, both were "looking forward to kind of settling down with each other" in the year 2015. The former bachelorette said on the topic of marriage, "I think we're open to whatever." She added, "Honestly we haven't even taken a breath in 2014...so once we take a breath we'll figure out what we want."

Her fiancé then added, "The traveling has been really good. It's been a lot of fun; we just haven't settled down yet." The couple then proceeded to discuss their date nights. Dorfman then learned how to cook some of the favorite foods of her ex-fiance. The duo were also telling the magazine that they might be looking to move in with each other the near future.
