Jennifer Aniston reminisces her past romance. Even before all the highly publicized split with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, she had her heart broken by another guy. The 45-year-old "Cake" actress had recently opened up to "The New York Times" during an interview. She then revealed about the first man she ever fell in love with. And that man left her when he passed away.
According to Aniston, "He was my first love - five years we were together." Her ex had passed away due to a brain tumor. She continued, "He would have been the one. But I was 25, and I was stupid. He must have sent me Justin to make up for it all."
But through that heartbreak, the "Friends" star finally found love again through her current fiancé Justin Theroux, 43-year-old "Leftovers" actor. Theroux had proposed to Aniston back in 2012 after the couple had spent time together on the set of their movie "Wanderlust". Theroux had given her an 8-carat diamond ring.
Aniston continued, "It's a rock, I know. He rocked it up. It took me a while to get used to it. I'm not a diamond girl. I'm more Indian jewelry and stuff."
On the other hand, Aniston is in the new film "Cake" which had her stop exercising for the role as well as stop putting on make-up. The actress had put on a new persona when she played a chronic pain sufferer. She underwent a much talked about make-under just to play the part.
The "We're the Millers" alum told the newspaper that what she is playing right now is a good opportunity to "take away the cloak of Rachel" in her "Friends" day. On a review of "Cake" that celebrated the actress' "hitherto hidden acting chops," Aniston quipped, "Hmm, yes, very deep underneath." She also added that "We're very much a sexist society. Women are still not paid as much as men... I've been up against that in negotiations myself."
