'Gotham' TV Series Spoiler: Nygma To Make Big Decisions; Selina Kyle To Do Something Incredibly Shocking

| By

Fox TV series "Gotham" returned on Monday night for its 11th episode called Rogues Gallery. The episode gave the show its third highest rating since its debut with 8.69 million viewers. The Arkham Asylum was introduced in the show on that night and according to showrunner Bruno Heller, the episode marks the next step of the story adding the asylum itself is one of the main characters.

While you can expect more of the Arkham Asylum in the next "Gotham" TV series episodes, you don't have to worry about the other characters as they are still very much relevant. In fact, most of them will have big moments in the succeeding episodes.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Heller said that Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) will have their moments some time in the next Gotham TV series episodes.

"You're going to see Nygma take a giant step forward into becoming the man he becomes. You're going to see Fish Mooney placed in a situation where it's almost unimaginable how she'll get out of it. Her relationship with Butch and Penguin are going to be pushed to the limit," he said.

"Selina Kyle's going to do something incredibly shocking - also, so's Fish, come to that. One of the things about the second half of the season is that all the story we've set up so far comes to fruition. Some people come to an end, other people are triumphant."

If it is about the young Bruce Wayne that you are curious about, don't worry because he, too, is up for more screen time in the future. Thanks to David Mazouz's brilliant portrayal, Heller said they decided to write more lines for him than what was initially planned.

"I would also say that, initially, we didn't intend to use Bruce Wayne quite as much, because with child actors you always want to be defensive," Heller said,

"But David Mazouz is as good an actor as I've ever seen - child or adult. It's rare that you can write dramatic scenes and be confident that they'll deliver, and with David, he always does, and he can do more and more. We've definitely written to him more than we would have otherwise."

"Gotham" TV series returns on January 19 for its 12th episode called "What the Little Bird Told Him."
