2015 has just begun but it seems like the world's top 3 smartphone maker Xiaomi needs no warm up as the recently held flash sale in India made its first record for the year when Redmi 1S went out of stock 4 seconds after the online sale began, while Redmi Note 4G units were sold out in a matter of 5 seconds! The Apple of China has just set the bar high over its top competitors for sure!
This was also the first time for the Chinese tech giant to sell 2 gadgets in one event-- the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, which began at 2PM IST, and of course, their top seller Redmi 1S, which started at 5PM IST. Moreover, this particular flash sale has reached an overwhelming 500,000 registrants for both Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 1S buyers, as reported by the company.
Xiaomi's Head in India, Manu Kumar Jain, confirmed this via his Twitter account, thanking all those who supported the company's first flash sale for the year:

Redmi Note 4G runs on a 1.6GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU and comes with 2GB RAM. It only has a single SIM device, running on android 4.4.2 KitKat having the same MIUI v5 skin as the original Redmi Note.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi's Redmi 1S includes 4.7- inch IPS display, runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating platform, and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with a 1GB RAM. The device also showcases an 8MP primary camera and a 1.6MP secondary camera. Moreover, it provides users of an 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via an external microSD card, and is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
