The former 'Bachelorette' star Jillian Harris has recently opened up and revealed that she was actually a victim of cyber bullying to which her "hot dog nose" taunting had drove her previously into having a nose job.
She said that she had received comments from really "mean people" who had mocked the shape of her nose in online posts at the time she had become a reality television star. Though she doesn't seem to regret her choice to have plastic surgery, she revealed that she had found a way to move on past the taunting of those judgmental and mean people and she has currently realized that there are things that are not worth feeling bad about.
She wrote on her website named "JillianHarris.com" that "Some people are mean. I've found the best way to cope with this is to just feel sorry for them. Think about it...how many emotionally wonderful people will jump onto the old world wide web and lash out at someone they have never met? Not many. So if someone says your fat, have a hot dog nose (yes this happened, and yes I got a nose job because of it) choose the route of empathy instead of anger," she explained.
In her post, it revealed the "10 Things I Learned from Reality TV" which also includes a mention of her decision to get plastic. She also denied that she's had other work done on her face.
She added, "OMG I didn't realize how greasy I looked in pictures until i started wearing mattifying powder!! Ladies..this can MAKE or break a photo and there is a fine balance. NO i have not had tons of work done on my face, rather I've only just now figured out how to do my makeup," she continued to write on her site.
