Samsung is unveiling, as they call it, "the most seductive TV of all time" at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Samsung introducing their new ultra HDTV as stylish, superb and even sexy. South Korean manufacturer giant added Tizen operating system for this TV.
The Verge reported that that SUHD TV is a curved 4K TV. Samsung named this TV as 4K SUHD TV, though they haven't clarified what the "S" in their 4K SUHD TV.
According to examiner.com, the "S" stands for "software." The UHD, of course, stands for Ultra High-Definition. The company says the new line of SUHDs are 2.5 times brighter than High-Definition TVs and have 64 times "the color expression," writes Deadline.com.
Samsung is showcasing Tizen operating system for the first time at CES. This software will connect Samsung TVs with the company's smartphones and allow users to browse and discover content using their other devices.
"This technology is as artful as it is innovative," said Dave Das, senior vice president of Samsung's home entertainment division.
Samsung is clearly wants to get our attention with the pure sex factor of a giant, curved 4K TV. Though, aside from Tizen and a curved 4K display, there's not much else to go on just yet.
"This TV will deliver a whole new viewing experience," said HS Kim, Samsung's executive vice president of their visual display business, during the preview at Las Vegas.
The company also announced a 105" bendable SUHD TV that continues the company's intent to capture their share of the curved television screen market while attracting more customers to the ultra HD world. "Nearly half of the UHD TVs we sell are curved," said Das.
