Canadian "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen has told police that a hacker has stolen private XXX photos from her computer and has tried to sell them to various media outlets.
According to TMZ, Jepsen, 26, has been aware of the hack since March, when an anonymous source tipped her off that naughty photos of the Canadian singer were being shopped around.
The Vancouver Police Department has been investigating the unauthorized use of a computer, theft of telecommunications and criminal harassment related to Jepsen.
"Our investigation began in mid-March," said a Vancouver PD spokesperson, according to E! News. "One suspect, an adult male, has been identified but, at this time, he has not been arrested or charged as the investigation continues."
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Jespen denied that she was the young woman in a sex tape that was making the rounds on the Internet.
"Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me," she wrote. "Ridiculous. Obviously not me." Blogger Perez Hilton first posted screen shots from the alleged sex tape, highlighting the resemblance between Carly Rae Jespen and the brunette in the video.
