One mainstay leaves, another fills the seat. (Revenge Season 4 spoiler ahead) Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) has left the show after being killed off in the mid-season finale. While fans bid goodbye to the former partner of Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), they now have to welcome Elena Satine as the new regular. Satine, who plays Louise, has been promoted to a mainstay member of the cast. The Hollywood Reporter first wrote about the news.
"Louise Ellis is in the Hamptons to stay," THR posted about their first "Revenge" Season 4 spoiler of the year.
"Elena Satine has been promoted to series regular on ABC's Revenge. Her character, the 'black sheep' of a wealthy Southern family, first befriended Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) at a psychiatric hospital earlier this season and later seduced Daniel Grayson (Joshua Bowman). Louise also is mentally unstable, frequently seeing hallucinations of her mother."
Although this is good news for Satine's fans, the next episodes will be bad for Louise as one of her relatives will come to Southamptons and stir things up between her and the manor people. According to a separate "Revenge" Season 4 spoiler from showrunner Sunil Nayar, Louise's brother will grace the show some time in the second half of the season.
"Louise's brother comes to town, and her hallucinations continue. We have a great episode coming up with a huge great twist," Sayar said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter back in December 8 last year.
Louise rose in the show because of her friendship with Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann). Fans see them as a cute platonic couple with a touch of crazy.
Another "Revenge" Season 4 spoiler from TV Line, teased that Louise and Nolan's friendship will take a "wonderful" turn before the end of the month.
"Meanwhile, Emily and Victoria will continue to clash over "who's to blame for what happened to Daniel"; Nolan and Louise's bizarre friendship will take a "wonderful turn" towards the end of January; and Margaux, now carrying the last hope for the Grayson line, will find herself strangely "energized." Oh, and remember that ex-wife Ben mentioned to Emily? She won't be just a memory for much longer."
