Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is one of 2016's most anticipated movies with Warner Bros. announcing that the film will introduce new characters and opening up storylines, defining the direction of the DC Universe and the movies they have announced until 2020. Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa's Aquaman have been reported to be making an appearance in Dawn of Justice.
Recently wrapping up with filming, Larry Fong, who is the film's cinematographer confirmed the news that indeed production for the movie has ended. He broke the news to the public with a video clip on his Instagram page captioned "That's a wrap."
As expected, rumors around interwebs have come up that a full trailer might be released soon.
In other circles, rumors about the film's plot have surfaced, including this one from Badass Digest. (These are based on theories and speculation, none have been officially confirmed yet):
"Batman v Superman opens with Batman's origin and fast forwards to Bruce Wayne coming to Metropolis during the Superman/Zod fight, but that's just setting the stage for that character. From there the script turns its attention to Superman heavily, and it examines the implications of Superman in the real world. The main action takes place a couple of years after the end of Man of Steel, and Superman has been busy in the meantime, becoming the hero we know and love. Clark Kent and Lois Lane have moved their relationship forward to the point where they live together. Clark is still working at the Daily Planet, although it's unclear if he's loving his assignments - he's tasked with covering a Metropolis/Gotham football game when he would rather be writing about Batman."
Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice was initially set to release on May 6 on the same day as Marvel's Captain America 3: Civil War. Warner Bros. has since re-arranged their calendar, moving Dawn of Justice to March 25, avoiding a potential showdown at the box office.
