Back even before Brangelina ever existed, the Hollywood "It" couple was actually Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Both were married years before Angelina and Brad Pitt got together and were considered the picture-perfect couple of that time.
However, things got sour in 2005 when Aniston and Pitt shockingly split up after Pitt had hooked up and had overlapped his relationship with Angelina Jolie while shooting the film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith". The movie starred both Pitt and Jolie as the leading characters.
After several years since the controversial break-up, both Pitt and Aniston had moved on their separate ways with Pitt now married to Angelina Jolie and raising six wonderful kids together while Aniston is now happily engaged to actor Justin Theroux.
According to an interview on "CBS Sunday Morning" with Jennifer Aniston on her split with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, "I don't find it painful." The 45-year-old actress continued, "I think it's a narrative that follows you because it's an interesting headline. It's more of a media-driven topic."
She was also asked if she still keeps in touch with her ex-husband to which she replied, "We've exchanged good wishes an all that sort of stuff to each other, but it's not a constant thing."
As for her current relationship with Justin Theroux, the "Friends" alum still prefers to keep the details of their romance private. She added, "We know what our truth is, and [the rumors are] all just static.' Aniston has been dating 43-year-old Theroux for three years now. Currently, the Golden Globe-nominated star is preparing herself for awards season yet again where her very much celebrated role in the independent drama "Cake" is already getting plenty of media sensation. Aniston added that "I really was just ready to disappear and really go into the depths of a character."
