A recent "Game of Thrones" Season 5 spoiler has revealed that the show could be welcoming a veteran actor that has played some of the most unforgettable roles in film and television. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, known for his role as Mr. Eko in hit ABC series Lost and as Algrim/Kurse in "Thor: The Dark World," reportedly landed a role in the HBO fantasy drama. The reports, however, did not indicate, what kind of character he will play.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote Akinnuoye-Agbaje's name in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 is Malko.
"The actor has also (after being cast in Jay Roach's Trumbo) booked a role on the upcoming fifth season of HBO's Game of Thrones. Details of the role are being kept under wraps but is said to be a character not in the books with the name "Malko."
While, "Game Of Thrones" Season 5 spoilers regarding Akinnuoye-Agbaje's Malko role are limited, GoT community site Watchers on the Wall said that the 47-year old actor's character is someone who will get tangled with Jorah Mormont and Tyrion Lannister.
"According to our sources, Adewale will be playing a slaver working on the continent of Essos. His character Malko runs a slave auction, and is presenting Jorah Mormont and Tyrion Lannister for sale," the website said about this "Game of Thrones" Season 5 casting.
"In the scene, Malko sells Jorah to Yezzan (a new season 5 character played by Enzo Cilenti). Tyrion, not wanting to be parted from Jorah at that point, makes a fuss, amusing the crowd until Yezzan buys him as well."
Before landing a role in fifth season of "Game of Thrones," Akinnuoye-Agbaje was last seen in British TV series Hunted where he played Deacon Crane. His most notable project on boob tube is Lost wherein he played Mr. Eko. Although his portrayal has received great reviews, Akinnuoye-Agbaje decided to leave the show after one season because he "felt uncomfortable living in Hawaii and wanted to return to his residence in London, England."
"Game of Thrones" Season 5 will pick up from where it left off last season.
