Here is one great news that will make you feel even more excited about Hannibal Season 3 release date. An iconic science-fiction genre actor could be coming into the show. In an interview with the press, David Tennant, known as the tenth incarnation of the Doctor in the British television series Doctor Who, revealed that he and Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller had talks about his possible guest appearance in the NBC horror drama series that stars Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Hugh Dancy as Will Graham.
"It's a conversation that's been had a couple of times," said Tennant who also appeared in several TV series like Broadchurch, and Gracepoint.
"I would love to work with Brian on anything - I think he's a rare talent- so it would be lovely if something worked out. But there's no immediate plans."

'I'm a huge fan of David Tennant, and we've been trying to get him on the show for quite some time' Fuller said.
'He's such a spectacular actor. He brings such an effervescence to every performance.
'I would love to have David on the show. Or just write for David! I would kill and eat somebody to work with David! He's my favourite Doctor.'
