"Twilight" star Nikki Reed and "American Idol" Alum Paul McDonald divorce has been finalized as TMZ reports.
The ex-couple announced their split almost a year ago citing irreconcilable differences, and Daily Mail reports that the split was blamed on money and career, with HollywoodLife.com reporting that both were struggling to carve out their respective acting and music careers.
The "Intramural" star gets the most from the divorce as reports say. The settlement grants her the ownership of three houses, and their guard dog Enzo.
In addition, the 26-year-old singer-actress will get the three cars that include Range Rover, a Toyota Tundra, and a Toyota Rav4.
Meanwhile, McDonald will only get one house and no car was mentioned. The two also agreed to waive spousal support.
Though the couple has broken up their marriage vows, Us weekly reports that the two continue to collaborate musically.
US Weekly added that in July, McDonald talked about their album "I'm Not Falling" in an interview with Yahoo Music.
"Both Nikki and I are so proud of this album," he said. "I feel like through the process of writing and recording the album, we both grew significantly as songwriters and collaborators. It's been amazing watching Nikki grow as singer and discover a new confidence as an artist. Right now our passion for this project couldn't be stronger. We're planning on booking a tour soon."
Daily Mail also added that their collaboration was released five months after their split was announced.
Currently, ex-American Idol McDonald is working on his debut solo album with his first single "Bright Lights." See video below.
On the other hand, Nikki has been living with new boyfriend Ian Somerhalder in Atlanta, Georgia and just got home from their skiing Christmas vacation. Many have speculated that the actress might be engaged again soon. As a report from E! News reveals that Ian had the fine jewelry store Neil Lane shut down for him.
